Our recreational gymnastics classes for 5-year-olds, are the first steps into our Big Kids Gym from preschool gymnastics!  These classes emphasize skill development and fun in a structured environment. Students will work on improving their balance, strength, and flexibility through engaging activities on various apparatuses, such as tramp, floor, beams, bars, and mats. The class focuses on building foundational gymnastics skills, encouraging teamwork, and fostering a positive attitude towards physical fitness, all while ensuring a playful and supportive atmosphere.

Boys Gymnastics

6 to 8 Year Olds

Our recreational boys’ gymnastics class for ages 6-8 focuses on developing strength, agility, and coordination through dynamic and engaging activities. Students will work on foundational skills such as tumbling, vaulting, and also work on apparatuses like rings and parallel bars. The class emphasizes building self-confidence, teamwork, and a love for fitness in a positive and energetic environment.

Girls Gymnastics

6 to 13 Year Olds

Our recreational program is designed for students of all skill levels.  From our FUNdamentals class through our Advanced classes, instructors guide students to develop good form and shapes to perform gymnastics skills efficiently and safely on every event.  These classes are taught on traditional artistic gymnastics events, vault, bars, balance beam and floor exercise.  Focus is on flexibility, shaping, strength, self-confidence, and fun!  Students will also learn social skills as they learn to respectfully work in a group, stand in line, listen to their coach, and set and achieve goals.  

FUN-damentals

Our FUNdamentals class is designed for newcomers as an into to the sport of gymnastics.   Basic gymnastics shapes are the basis of this class.  This class is the start to building a solid foundation.  Start here - go anywhere!

Beginner

Duration: 55 Minutes

Our beginner class introduces students to basic beginning skills of gymnastics. The basis of this class is to refine basic shapes and basic skill technique at the beginner level, to prepare for an intermediate recreational class.

Intermediate

Duration: 55 Minutes
Price: $72 Monthly

Our Intermediate class focuses on building on beginner skills already mastered. This class starts adding more complex routines and techniques. By enhancing strength and agility, along with technique, this class prepares students for the most advanced recreational classes.

Advanced

Duration: 85 Minutes
Price: $96 Monthly

Our Advanced class refines intermediate and advanced skills, techniques and routines. The goal is on precision, strength, and flexibility of more advanced skills. This class can prepare students for more competitive elements, while ensuring a high level of personal achievement.

ACRO & AERIALS

10 to 17 Year Olds

In our Acro & Aerials Class, students will explore the dynamic fusion of dance and acrobatics. This class focuses on developing strength, flexibility, and balance through a variety of acrobatic movements and tricks. Students will learn essential skills such as cartwheels, handstands, and aerials, as well as more advanced elements like back handsprings and tumbling passes. Emphasis will be placed on proper technique, body control, and safe progressions to ensure each student builds a solid foundation while mastering impressive acro tricks.

Tumbling

8 to 17 Year Olds

Our tumbling classes are taught on a spring floor, a 30 ft long trampoline and a 50′ bouncy rod floor with a soft pit air bag landing!  Tumbling classes offer an exhilarating experience for those who love high-energy activities. From cartwheels to handsprings to somies, students will practice essential tumbling techniques while improving their agility and body control. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, our tumbling classes provide a great way to push your limits and achieve new personal bests.  This class is great for cheerleaders desiring to master tumbling skills or for students that would like an alternative to traditional gymnastics apparatus.  Group classes for cheer squads available!

Recreational Gymnastics

What to Expect:

  • Warm-Up and Stretching: Classes usually begin with a warm-up to increase heart rate and prepare muscles for exercise. This may include dynamic stretches, cardio activities, and basic body movements.
  • Skill Stations: Students will use various gymnastics apparatus throughout the facility as they rotate from event to event. Each piece of equipment is introduced in a way that is safe and appropriate for the skill level.
  • Progressive Learning:   Skills are taught in a progressive manner, starting with basic movements and gradually advancing to more complex tricks as students build confidence and proficiency.  Instructors provide individualized feedback to help each student improve their technique and work towards their personal goals. They Focus is on positive reinforcement and encouragement.
  • Group Activities: Teamwork and cooperation are fostered through group exercises and partner activities, helping students develop social skills and make new friends.

Attire:  Our attire rules are for the safety of our students.  We prefer female students wear a leotard; however, snug fitting athletic wear is also acceptable (leggings or shorts and tank tops). Acceptable attire for males can be t-shirts or tank tops and joggers or athletic shorts.

Dresses, denims, and pants with buttons and zippers are not allowed.  These clothing items can get caught on equipment or instructors who are assisting the students. Students may not wear shoes or socks during class.
Hair must be secured away from the face and no jewelry or watches are allowed to be worn on the floor. Student cell phones are not allowed out on the floor.
